Ni más / ni menos

  • Cultural Arts Center at Disciples Christian Church 3663 Mayfield Road Cleveland Heights, OH, 44121 United States (map)

What happens when invisible fault lines shift beneath our feet? Ni más / ni menos is a bold new interdisciplinary performance that explores the struggle for balance in an increasingly fractured world.

Featuring original music by internationally acclaimed composer and multi-instrumentalist Adam Ben Ezra, this stripped-down, emotionally raw work builds on the critically praised A Periplum. It continues the innovative collaboration between Felise Bagley, celebrated contemporary dancer and founding member of GroundWorks DanceTheater, and Alice Blumenfeld, a national leader in flamenco’s evolution. Along with the duo’s choreography. the work features a new piece by Sevilla-based Cristina Hall, Abrepaso’s first outside commission.

Together, the artists of Ni más / ni menos create blend their perspectives for work that is rooted, but not bound. Free of stereotypes. Stark, intimate, and electric. Their shared choreographic language blurs the lines between forms, bringing the tension and tenderness of real human dialogue to life through movement and sound.

Ni más / ni menos invites audiences into a world where balance is never still, where the push and pull of internal and external forces reveals the power of presence, communication, and surrender.

Don't miss this one-of-a-kind performance. Rooted in flamenco, it’s live music and dance like you’ve never seen—or felt—before.
